ZHANG Yongwei

Researcher at the Institute of Linguistics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). Director of the Language Resources and Intelligent Technology Sub-laboratory of the Key Laboratory of Linguistics at CASS, and Director of the Department of Corpus Linguistics. Main research areas include corpus linguistics, computational lexicography, and computational linguistics.

Concurrently serves as Deputy Director of the Corpus and Computational Linguistics Research Center at the Institute of Linguistics, CASS; Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Master's Supervisor at Peking University; and Committee Member of the Computer-Assisted Terminology Work Sub-Technical Committee of the National Language and Terminology Standardization Technical Committee. Selected for the National Youth Talent Program.

Has led two national-level research projects, two provincial/ministerial-level projects, and served as the principal investigator for four sub-projects under major national initiatives. Contributed to reference works including the 12th edition of Xinhua Dictionary and the Draft Vocabulary List for Compulsory Education. Published over 30 academic papers in journals such as Studies of the Chinese Language, Contemporary Linguistics, and Lexicographical Studies.
